Student Nominee Instructions

Congratulations on being nominated for the Outstanding Student Award.

As a Nominee, we ask that you provide additional information and documentation supporting your nomination.

To complete the award application, submit the following:

1. Complete the Nominee Background Form 
2. Submit a resume 
3. Submit an unofficial ASU transcript

COMPLETING THE NOMINEE BACKGROUND FORM

You can access the Nominee Background Form after March 15, 2024, by clicking the button below. Please note that we ask a few essay questions to learn a bit more about you. 
Once you begin filling out the online form, you must finish the form within 30 minutes. There is no option to save your submission to return later. So have all of your documents completed before using the online form.

SUBMITTING A RESUME

We encourage nominees to support a copy of their resume, as this is a great place to list out your involvement, achievements, awards, and any additional details.

If a resume is not included with the Nominee Background form, please email a copy to hispanic.convocation@asu.edu.

SUBMITTING AN UNOFFICIAL TRANSCRIPT

Nominees must also attach a copy of their unofficial transcript for their application to be considered complete. The unofficial transcript can be attached to the Nominee Background Form.

If unofficial transcripts are not included with the Nominee Background form, they can be e-mailed to hispanic.convocation@asu.edu.

IMPORTANT REMINDERS FOR STUDENTS

The Student Nominee is responsible for the submission of all documents.

Students selected for the awards must register and participate in the ASU Hispanic Convocation ceremony.
