Accessibility & Disability Information

For more information, contact the ASU Disability Resource Center.

Disabled Seating

Desert Financial Arena’s disabled seating is located on the interior concourse level of the arena. One additional guest may accompany the disabled guest in this area. To assure disabled seating for all who need to be accommodated, we ask that other guests be seated in the rows directly in front of the disabled seating areas. Download the Desert Financial Arena seating chart (PDF) displaying locations for disabled seating.

Students who require special seating or assistance at Hispanic Convocation should contact the Hispanic Convocation Office for more information.

Disabled Parking

Please visit the parking website to find information about disabled parking. You may also visit the Disabled Parking page or contact Parking and Transportation Services at 480-965-6406.

Wheelchairs

Wheelchairs are an amenity provided to our disabled and elderly guests to make their participation in a graduation event more enjoyable. Wheelchairs cannot be reserved in advance of any graduation event. They are available on a first-come, first-served basis.

Desert Financial Arena - Wheelchairs can be checked out at the north entrance.

A limited number of chairs are available at each venue.

To check out a wheelchair your will need a picture I.D. or a major credit card. A drivers license is preferred.

Wheelchairs are not to leave the building and should be returned within 30 minutes of the end of the ceremony.
