Graduates may wear any of the following headgear:

Headgear should not interfere with or obstruct the view of fellow graduates sitting around you.

Graduate School Hoods

Graduate students should wear their regalia and robes during the Hispanic Convocation.

Note: Graduate students are not hooded during the Hispanic Convocation ceremony. Hooding is reserved for Commencement and college convocations.

Hispanic Convocation Sash

The traditional ASU Hispanic Convocation sash is distributed to graduates at check-in for the Hispanic Convocation.

Tassels should be worn on the left side of the mortarboard as students are considered graduated after the university's commencement ceremony.
